Marcella Gibson-Reece

Marcella E. Gibson-Reece, 83 of Zanesville, died 7:15 AM, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born Thursday, April 3, 1941, in Zanesville, the daughter of Pernell Cochran and Magdalene (Alexander) Cochran, and was a member of New Covenant Church.

Marcella is survived by two sons, Phillip Gibson, Jr. and Eric (Candy) Gibson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin (Renee’) Cochran and Anthony (Sue) Cochran; one sister, Orvella (Bill) Romine and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marcella was preceded in death by one son, Keith Gibson; siblings, Pernell Cochran, Jr., Theodore Cochran, Purcella Dungee, Paullatta Cochran and Sandy Cochran.

A caring cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the New Covenant Church.
