Shots Fired Near South Street
 
ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Zanesville Police Department is investigating after multiple shots were fired near 621 South Street in Zanesville Sunday evening. Lieutenant Chris Rice confirmed that multiple shots were fired and one person was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. 
 
Mother of Dead Baby Interviewed
 
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – According to Muskingum County Shriff Matt Lutz, Detectives have spoken with the birth mother after a dead baby was found on Muskingum University’s Campus last week. The Sheriffs Office would not release information into how the baby died but did confirm that the mother is a student at the university. 
 
4th Annual Zane Grey Family Day
 
ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – Sunday afternoon, community members participated in the 4th Annual Zane Grey Family Day. The event, hosted by The National Road and Zane Grey Museum, was free of charge but donations were accepted. All money raised at the event will go towards educational programming.
 
The Cass Mind Academy Autism Walk
 
ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Cass Mind Academy held an Autism Walk at the Buckingham House on Moxahala Avenue Sunday afternoon. At the event were given the opportunity to  meet an intervention specialist and learn more about what autism is. New to the event this year was a 5k run and walk.
