Sheriff Lutz: Scam Alert

 Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz is warning area residents about a scam that is taking place.  Lutz says some area residents are getting phone calls saying they have failed to show up for Grand Jury duty and they must pay money to get out of trouble.  Lutz says his department never solitics money over the phone and the call is a scam. If you recieve a call like this you should call the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and report it.
