11-year-old Arrested for Bomb Threat
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – According to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office an 11-year-old boy was arrested and charges are pending after he made a bomb threat Tuesday. Sheriff Matt Lutz said the student in this case will probably be charged as a minor, but could face felony charges of inducing panic.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Muskingum County Center for Seniors director and board president met with the County Commissioners Thursday to discuss options for a new center. Commissioner Jim Porter said they are currently in negotiations for a building located in Downtown Zanesville.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Zanesville and Muskingum County joint drug task force arrested 35-year-old Mark Vose of Zanesville, after a four month long investigation. Vose is facing multiple charges including 3 counts of trafficking in drugs and two counts of possession of drugs.
Man Shot by Police Had Made Fake Gun Look Real
NEWARK, OHIO (AP) – Authorities say a man shot by police had altered a bb gun to make it look like a firearm and purposely tried to provoke officers in central Ohio. Newark Police say officers shot the 26-year-old man Wednesday night after he raised his hand while holding what appeared to be a firearm.
