Richard Hardy

Richard “Dickie” Donald Hardy, 56, of Zanesville, passed away January 19, 2025.
He was born on May 27, 1968, in Cambridge, son of the late, Albert Henry Hardy Sr. and Betty Lou Sickles Hardy. Dickie attended the Salvation Army in Zanesville, OH. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, watching Michigan Football and the San Francisco 49ers.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married October 5, 2024, Kristina Hardy; siblings, Alice Hardy, Sarah (Ronald) Phillips, Nancy Hardy, Ernest Phillip Jr., Albert Henry (Sandy) Hardy Jr., Bobby (Jennifer) Earley, Michael (Angie) Earley, Cathy (Ray) Smith; mother-in-law Ella (William) Newell; sisters-in-law, Catherine Newell and Ruth (Tod Sarver) Newell; brother-in-law Danny (Theresa) Doyle; several cousin, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John C. Sayer; step-father Eugene Earley.
Calling hours will held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Salvation Army of Zanesville, located at 515 Putnam Ave., Zanesville, OH 43701. Where funeral services will take place at 1:00 PM with Envoy George Bates officiating. Following services a bereavement meal will follow; the family asks those attending to bring a covered dish.
