ZMC Chamber of Commerce Spring Golf Outing

It was a beautiful day for the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Spring golf outing.

The match, held at Green Valley Golf Course Friday, gives chamber members an opportunity to interact with each other, as well as build networking.

"Some of our members reward their employees by sending their employees out and some businesses bring clients out," said Membership Services Director, Dana Matz. "There’s a couple companies that just merge and come together and golf. It’s a beautiful day, and it’s a nice way to get out of working in the office and do some work on the course."

The chamber holds two outings each year, one in the Spring, and one at the end of the Summer. Matz said the events are a great way for members to discuss what is going on in the community from a business standpoint.

"Maybe a new business that’s come to town or a new employee that’s been hired, it’s a great chance for them meet each other," Matz said.

Matz said they had a great turnout with 22 teams participating. All proceeds from the outing benefit the Chamber of Commerce.
