Cynthia E. (Grimm) Kessler, 71 of South Zanesville, died Wednesday January 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born February 9, 1953, to Shirley (Donald) Krouskoupf and Virgil (Mary Jane) Delong.

Cindy’s greatest joys were her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her son, Dana (Heather) Grimm, and daughter, Shirley (David) Delaney. Her six grandchildren, Mark (Kristen) Grimm, Cody (Brandi) Hewitt, Corey Grimm, Chase Delaney, Madison (Dalton) Smeltzer, and Cassidy (Hunter) Grimm, brought immeasurable happiness to her life, as did her seven great-grandsons: Ryker, Madden, Kayden, Cohen, Kaseten, Kenneth, and Luxten, who were the lights of her life and who she would brag about to anyone that would listen.

She is also survived by stepbrothers Conrad (Becki) Krouskoupf, Donnie Krouskoupf Jr., Jeff (Joyce) Krouskoupf, and Scott (Alice) Selby; step-sister Diana Delong; sister-in-law Lisa Delong; and long-time friend and neighbor, Karen Myers, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Randy Grimm, Steve Delong, Russell Delong, Jeff Delong; sister Debbie Brown; niece Wendy Johnson; stepfather Donald Krouskoupf, Sr. and the father to her children, Kenneth Hewitt.

Cindy most recently worked for South 60 Market and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Green Bay Packers fan. She was always a smiling face to any customers that she met and would make lasting friendships through the years.

In accordance with Cindy’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place and Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date. To sign the online guestbook or leave personal note of condolence please visit www.hilliscombsnestor.com
