Meet Tugboat! This Week’s Dog of the Week
ZANESVILLE, OH – This week’s Dog of the Week will tug on your heart.
Meet Tugboat! He’s a two year old terrier mix, who’s neutered, and keeps a clean kennel.
Doug McQuaid, a Volunteer at the K-9 Adoption Center, said Tugboat does well around other dogs and might even enjoy a good car ride.
“He is a little bit strong so he would need to go for walks on a daily basis,” McQuaid said. “He seems to always want to go, maybe like he leads towards going into cars. In the fashion of, he was probably a dog that took a lot of car rides so maybe that’s something he would really enjoy.”
McQuaid also wanted to remind the public about a few things going on at the Adoption Center.
He said there’s still time to stop in and grab a Valentine’s Day treat bag for your furry Valentine.
McQuaid also said that time is running out to get your 2025 Dog License.
“Friday is the last day for dog tags without a penalty and it’s so important that you get those,” McQuaid said. “It’s the fastest, easiest way for your dog to get returned to you. We like the dogs that come in here to stay out of harm’s way, but our main concern is to get all dogs reunited with their owner.”
