Escaped Inmate in Muskingum Co.

Muskingum Co- An inmate has escaped from the Muskingum County Jail.

Authorities said around 5pm Saturday evening Wayne S. Pletcher was able to escape the jail and fled onto 4th Street. He’s believed to have gotten assistance from a white female.

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office said Pletcher was last seen wearing a tan shirt and pants. He’s 37-years-old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 240 pounds He has the name “Victoria” tattooed on the right side of his neck as well as a full arm sleeve tattoos on both arms.

The sheriff’s office said Pletcher was being held on multiple felony charges.
