Helen Carlisle

Helen M. Carlisle, 89 of Zanesville, died 3:11 AM, Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at her home. She was born Tuesday, February 26, 1935, in Cutler, the daughter of Warren Kennedy and Ella Mae (Norris) Kennedy. She married Robert W. “Bob” Carlisle on Wednesday, April 3, 1957.

Helen was employed with Ohio Bell and First Federal Savings and Loan. She enjoyed bowling, and was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Helen is survived by her husband of over 67 years, Bob Carlisle; three sons: Michael (Betsy) Carlisle of Delaware, Brian Carlisle of Hilton Head, SC, and Craig (Pam) Carlisle of Zanesville.; seven grandchildren ; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law: Louise Kennedy.

In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Kennedy and James Kennedy, and two sisters and brothers-in-law: Garnet & Howard Curtis and Juanita & Richard Greene.

Graveside Services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Keith Wyatt officiating.
