MCSO Investigates Threat at Philo Junior High School

MUSKINGUM COUNTY–The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a Philo Junior High School student making a threat against the school.

Authorities said the threat was in person during school hours.

The Philo Junior High School staff is assisting with the investigation, the student has been identified, and the parents have been contacted.

Authorities said safety measures have been taken and there is no danger to any students or staff at the school from this incident.
