Meet Chooch! This Week’s Dog of the Week
ZANESVILLE, OH – This week’s Dog of the Week is chugging along to find his forever family.
Meet Chooch! Chooch is a 3-year-old who’s neutered, does well with kids, and is searching for his Valentine.
Doug McQuaid, a Volunteer at the K-9 Adoption Center, said Chooch is dog selective, which means he would do better in a home where he’s the top dog.
He also said that through volunteers at the K-9 Adoption Center working with Chooch, they found he loves to take a dip in the tub.
“[He] does well in a bathtub, he loves taking baths, believe it or not,” McQuaid said. “We found that out, loves toys, but he is active so, definitely want to take him for a walk and as he walks he seems to calm down, would be a great companion for anybody. ”
McQuaid said if you are in need of food for your furry friends, you can stop by or give the Adoption Center a call for some.
He also said they’re looking for some more volunteers to take care of animals like Chooch.
“We’re always looking for volunteers and fosters, most of our dogs come in as strays,” McQuaid said. “By you helping us with that matter, you let us know a lot of things about the dog. You know they came from a family and they came from a home and it’s very important that they get back into that.”
The K-9 Adoption Center also still has a few Valentine’s Day treat bags if you haven’t already picked one up for your pet.
