Arrests Made in Newark Bank Robbery
A husband and wife are being held at the Licking County Justice Center on charges of Aggravated Robbery.
Newark Police report that a man entered the Park National Bank on Granville Road Friday morning. According to police, Wilson handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and Brent exited the bank. Authorities say he entered a car allegedly driven by a female accomplice.
After receiving witness description of both subjects and the vehicle, detectives confirmed the identity of Brent M. Wilson, 45 and Elisabeth A. Wilson, 41. At that time, Newark police detectives and Blendon Township police officers arrested both Brent and Elisabeth at their Westerville home around 5:30 Friday night.
