Voice Winner Comes to Zanesville

The winner of ‘The Voice’ season 7 is stopping in Zanesville tonight.

He’s gearing up for a 10:00 p.m. performance at the Smiling Goat. The doors to the sold out show open at 6:00 p.m. and Craig Wayne Boyd will be opened up by Carson Drive and Cliff Cody. Boyd said he’s excited to get on stage.

“It’s always fun to get back to, this is what I grew up and cut my teeth to doing in places like this,” said Boyd.”It’s always enjoyable to get back and be able to be that close to the audience and have that interaction. ”

The country set will feature all the crowd favorites that Boyd performed on ‘The Voice’ including his new single, as well as some new original pieces. Boyd is also working on a new album and headed to perform for almost 20,000 people with Lynyrd Skynyrd tomorrow night.
