Ronald “Ron” Price

Ronald Eugene Price, 77 of Crooksville, passed away into the loving arms of his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday February 17, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on March 19, 1947, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, son of the late Herman Price and Anna Lee Clifton. Ron worked as a Welder at Hanson Concrete in Columbus for over 28 years, where he retired. Ron practiced his strong Christian faith as a member of the House of Prayer Church in Roseville. He attended the New Lex Senior Center and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and sports fan. He enjoyed watching his tv and his snacks. Above all, he loved spending time at church and with his family and loved ones.
Ron is survived by his 4 children: Sheryl (Bruce) Lannon, Ron “Buck” Price, Carol Baker, Timothy Rush; sisters, Debbie Beaver, Francine Price; brother, Bill Price; special granddaughter, Emilie Lannon; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ron is preceded in death by his son, Andy Rush; brother, David Price; sister, Mary Brown; grandparents, Marion and Sadie Taylor.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 12:00 PM with Pastor Dorothy Sowers officiating. Burial will conclude services at Community Gardens Cemetery in New Lex.
