Meet Spin! This Week’s Dog of the Week
ZANESVILLE, OH – This Week’s Dog of the Week is a gentle giant.
Meet Spin! He’s a 1-year-old hound mix, who’s fully vetted, does well with everyone he meets and is waiting patiently for his forever home.
Doug McQuaid, a Volunteer at the K-9 Adoption Center, said Spin was abandoned at the Adoption Center, but that hasn’t stopped his true colors from shining through.
“We found that he weighed about 70 pounds, as you can see, he is a large dog and would need to go for many walks,” McQuaid said. “He does have a little bit of a pull but as he walks he seems to calm down, as you can tell now. He just seems to be a great dog, seems to be dog friendly, he does not do well with cats so we would make sure you know that, and always bring your dog if you happen to have one to make sure they interact well.”
McQuaid was also happy to announce that the Adoption Center recently received a large donation of food from Dollar General.
If you are in need just to call or stop by the Center and they will set you up with everything you need.
“Our food bank is solely, only for those in need in our community, we realize people come up on hard times and we can help,” McQuaid said. “If you would please, stop by the Adoption Center, come inside and talk to a staff member, let them know what you need, we’ll gladly get you the food.”
If you are interested in adopting Spin, picking up some food, or for more information you can reach out to the Adoption Center at (740)-453-0273.
