WHIZ’s New Website Features
Here at WHIZ, we’re adding some new features to our website.
If you miss Z-92’s Healthy Living segment in the morning, you can now find those tips at the bottom of our website, under station promotions. WHIZ Communications Manager, Sara Shallcross, said the new section covers a wide variety of relatable topics.
“We wanted to offer this on the website, so people can go back, listen to it, and basically the healthy living tips… they’re just fun little minute, minute-thirty topics, so they’re real short, real quick for people, and they cover a wide range, for instance, artificial sweeteners, good or bad, the use of sports drinks, who should be using sports drinks, what do they do, and things like that,” Shallcross said.
High school football season is right around the corner, and Shallcross said WHIZ is offering an easier way for our viewers to watch the “Game of the Week.”
“We’ve partnered with Vimeo, and we’re actually going to host those on Vimeo for people to download, same price as always, $10 flat rate, but you can download that and keep it forever, without any hassle,” she said.
The Muskingum Valley League’s All Star game is currently available for download, and Shallcross also wanted to remind viewers they can submit birthdays and anniversaries on our website at any time.
