Neal “Mick” Pease

Neal “Mick” McKee Pease, 67, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, unexpectedly at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born June 14, 1957 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late John Neal and Kathleen McKee Pease. He was employed at Ferro Corporation, where he served as Plant Manager and Engineer until his retirement at age 60. He was then a driver for Northside Oxygen and Shriver’s delivery. He was an avid bowler and was chosen to be in the Amateur Bowling Hall of Fame, for an 860 series. He also enjoyed spending time with his friend’s playing poker.
As a devoted member of the Roseville/Crooksville Communities, he spent his time as president of the youth baseball league, and a wrestling coach, where he was known to be the loudest man in the gym or ball field. He was a longtime member of the Roseville Village Council and a Lake Isabella trustee. He enjoyed spending time with his sons; never missing important life events and loved helping them with do-it-yourself projects. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, who he doted on endlessly and they affectionately referred to him as Pappy. He never missed an opportunity to lovingly rile up his daughters in law. He was very proud of his family and very patriotic. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeyes, never missing any games.
Surviving is the love of his life, his wife Ginger Halfhill Pease, whom he married May 5, 1984; four sons: Nicholas McKee (Melissa) Pease (Nicole Brown); John Matthew (Danielle) Pease, Michael Neal (Sonia) Pease and Master Sergeant Peter Justin Louis (Chelsey) Pease; two brothers: Bill (Barbara) Pease and Pete (Carolyn) Pease; four sisters: Ginger Lutton, Janice Corbin, Joleen (Anthony) Lombardozzi and June (Greg) Vincent; mother in law Sally S. Halfhill Curtis; in laws: Arthur Brown, Marsae (David) Hadley, David F. (Courtney) Halfhill and Michelle (Gene) Henderson; grandchildren: Hannah “Banana”, Jamison “Jamie-San”, Colin “Bubba”, Arianna “Boop Eyes”, Lily “Silly Lily”, Eann “Peann”, Landon “Red”, Gracie “Bug”, Finnleigh “Finn-Finn”, McKenna “Kenners” and Eleanor “Smelly Ellie”; many nieces and nephews, and his furry friend Oliver. Also, many special friends and co-workers, he made over the years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Marion Kathleen Crisco and Frances Arlene Keller.

Visitation will be held 2 to 7PM Thursday, March 13, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OHIO. The funeral service will begin at 7PM in The Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. The Snouffer Crematory has been entrusted with cremation care.
