Mary Lori

Mary Louise Safigan Lori age 88, of Caldwell, OH passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell. She was born June 13, 1936 in Noble County in a small community called Florence between Caldwell and Belle Valley. She was a daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Kolenich Safigan.

She worked at NCR, Golden Plaza, Oasis, and also owned and operated “Spare Time Charters” on Lake Erie. She was a member of the Caldwell Fraternal Order of Eagles 2952 and was Catholic by Faith. She was an animal lover having raised Boston Terriers and Poodles. She had a passion for pet grooming which she did for many years.

In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her son Jason “Jay” Lori; two brothers Dick and Jim; brother-in-law Kenneth Jackson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons Phil Lori of Dayton, OH and Chris Lori of Caldwell; eight grandchildren Ryan (Kristy) Lori, Kylie Lori, Andrew Lori, Lydia Lori, Bricker Lori, Shantel (Justin) Knapp, Tiffany Lori, and Brandon Lori; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Joan Jackson of Caldwell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will be observed. The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation March 19, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Rosary Service will conclude visitation March 19, 2025 at 7:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Father Dale Tornes officiating.
