Darrell Williams

Darrell L. Williams, 66 of Zanesville, died 2:45 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Genesis Hospital. He was born Saturday, June 21, 1958, in Columbus, the son of Bill F. Williams and Judith (Brubaker) Darlington.
Darrell was a man of faith and welcomed his entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven, to be with his Lord and Savior. Darrell was an over the road truck driver for many years. He always enjoyed the beautiful scenery this country had to offer.
Darrell was a huge history buff and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a loving and caring man, father, grandfather and great grandfather who cherished the time he spent with his family. One of his greatest accomplishments was having 12 children and successfully raising 9 as a single father.
Darrell is survived by his children, Michelle (Vance) Carpenter, Jamie Williams, Daryl (Lindsay) Williams, Dale Williams, Cory Williams, Lynn (Jerry) Galigher, Phillip (Amber Morris) Williams, Jennifer Williams, Ashley (Zach Bruce) Williams and Rachel Williams; twenty six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three siblings, Bill Williams, John David Darlington and Kim Darlington; a life-long friend who Darrell considered as his brother, Tink Bleakney, his two four legged companions and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by one son, Robert “Bobby” Williams; brothers, Scott Darlington, Danny Darlington, Bryan Darlington and Bosser Darlington, and best friend Art “Skip” Grindley
