Alan Hupp

Alan L. Hupp age 74, of Caldwell, OH passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family and host of friends. He was born July 13, 1950 in Cambridge, OH, son of the late Roy and Margaret Hupp.

He served and protected his Nation in the United States Navy. He was employed as a train conductor on the railroad for many years. Al found his greatest joy in the great outdoors, whether casting a line into a quiet lake at sunrise or tracking game through the autumn woods. Hunting and fishing weren’t just hobbies for him, they were his passions, his escape, and the way he connected with nature and those he loved.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Anita L. Adkins Hupp, who passed away November 6, 2024 and son Roger L. Hupp, who passed May 18, 2018.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Alan (Melanie) Hupp of Grafton, OH; three grandchildren Colton Hupp, Hunter Hupp, and Autumn Hupp. Al is also survived by many friends.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation Friday, March 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724.
