Z-ville Man Changes Plea in December Shooting

A Zanesville man facing multiple charges including attempted murder appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court and changed his plea.  .18-year-old Deylen Wilkey of Cliffwood Avenue entered guilty pleas to two counts of aggravted robbery, and one count each of tamperng with evidence and burglary with a fire arm specification.  . Judge Mark Fleegle continued his bond at one-million dollars and ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Two counts of attempted murder and two counts of felonious assault will be dropped at sentencing. Wilkey is one of two men charged in connection with a December 11th shooting at 1236 Woodlawn Avenue that injured two people. The other person charged in the case, 18-year-old Robert Barr of Zanesville has already been sentenced in this case.
