Escape Goats Unleashes a New Level of Fun in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, OH –Zanesville’s newest escape room is here, offering a fun challenge for visitors.

W-H-I-Z’s Shylin Costello and Aniyah Hart were able to get a behind the scenes look into Escape Goats, Zanesville’s latest adventure where the only way out is through quick thinking and teamwork. 

“It’s an hour of game play,” Escape Goats Owner Jillian Arena said. “You will solve puzzles and clues; you work together as a team. Several people can work on different things all throughout the room at once.”

At Escape Goats teams of 8-10 have just one hour to crack the code and hunt for hidden clues. The first modern escape room was created in Japan in 2007, and since then, the concept has exploded worldwide—with over 50,000 escape rooms across more than 44 countries. Now, Zanesville is joining the global trend, offering a new way to enjoy a unique experience.

“There’s not a lot for people to do entertainment wise in our area. So, we’re hoping that people will come and enjoy themselves,” Arena said.
