Zanesville P.D. Searching for Car Thief

The Zanesville Police Department is on the lookout for a man after he stole a car around 2:45 Monday.

The department reported that it is looking for Shawn Williamson, 20. He is described as 6’2" wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts and no shoes.

A warrant has been issued on Williamson for assault. The department stated Williamson ran from officers investigating suspicious activity on Dryden Road. The car he is believed to have stolen is a teal-green Dodge Neon with Ohio tags CL55JK.
