New Bank Mobile-App Features
One local bank is making managing your finances on-the-go a bit easier.
Century National Bank is introducing some new features to its mobile app that customers are banking on. Those who access their account through the app can now transfer money, photo-deposit checks, make payments and much more.
“One main feature that we find has been real successful with our customers is the instant balance request, and the way that works is once you open the application, there’s a dollar-sign icon in the app, and if you press on that, it will give you and instant balance on any account that you choose that you have here at the bank,” said Branch Administrative Officer, John Dal Ponte.
The app’s new design is more user-friendly and easier to navigate. The upgrade includes new security and push alerts that Dal Ponte said are very beneficial.
“We have several options you can choose, for instance, if you set a predetermined balance alert, it’ll alert you when your balance falls below that predetermined number that you put in there,” Dal Ponte said. “The app will send you either a text message, an email notification, or an app-alert of a what they call a push notification when your account has been locked out, or if your password has been changed.”
