White Pillars Christmas House Open Again

While some are looking forward to autumn leaves and hay rides, others are thinking even further ahead.

Yolanda Taylor and Trent Cubbison are among those counting down the 106 days left until Christmas morning. The Co-Owners have re-opened the White Pillars Christmas House on Route 40 just east of Zanesville. Taylor said she’s excited to bring back the yuletide tradition after seeing the house closed for four years.

“We all love Christmas and children love Christmas and it is a truly joyful time of year,” said Taylor.

Taylor said the Christmas house isn’t the only place that starts looking a lot like Christmas long before the season starts.

“Well at our house there’s a Christmas tree in every house and it starts the day after Thanksgiving,” said Taylor.

The Christmas House is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sundays. The hours are expected to increase as the Christmas season approaches.
