Perry County Woman Injured in Fatal Accident

The Lancaster Post of the Highway Patrol says a Rushville man was killed and a Perry County woman was injured in a two vehicle accident. It happened just before 7:00 a.m. on State Route 664 north of Rushville in Fairfield County. Troopers say 32-year-old Jediah Rempel of Nelsonville was driving south on 664 and went left of center and struck another vehicle head-on. It was driven by 57-year-old Linda Young of Junction City. The Highway Patrol says Rempel was taken to Fairfield County Medical Center where he died. Young was taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Her condition was not available. The crash remains under investigation.
