Patrol: More Details From Sunday Accident

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is releasing more details from a serious two-vehicle accident Sunday night. It happened just before 9:30 on U.S. 40 and North Hopewell Road. Lt. Matt Boyd says 31-year-old Michelle Brouseus of Newark was driving south on North Hopewell Road, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a pickup truck on U.S. 40. It was driven by 36-year-old Michael Glosser of Lancaster. Lt. Boyd says Glosser was transported to Genesis Hospital for incapacitating injuries. Boyd says Brouseus, who was not taken to the hospital was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence. A passenger in Brouseus’ vehicle, 27-year-old Ryan Adkins of Newark was also transported to Genesis with incapacitating injuries. Boyd says the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
