City Council Declares ‘Trick or Treating’ Date
The Zanesville City Council met once again Monday evening.
A resolution declared that ‘trick or treating’ will take place on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 5:30-7:00 and an ordinance that could bring new storm water assessments to Muskingum County was reviewed for the second time.
The assessment could change the way that commercial and residential property are charged for storm-water regulation. The ordinance will be reviewed at the next council meeting before any decisions are made.
After that, Public Service Director Jay Bennett said it could be upwards of six months before planning is complete and the process begins.
The next City Council meeting is scheduled for Oct. 12.
