Dollar General Makes Donations to Transitions

Zanesville, OH- Dollar General has made a donation to a local non-profit in recognition of March’s Women’s History Month.
The Dollar General Distribution Center in Zanesville and its employees donated more than $4,000 worth of personal care products, food, baby and cleaning supplies to Transitions.
We humbly live out our company mission of serving others by providing needed items for women in the surrounding communities. Thank you to our DG employees who helped donate, collect, organize and distribute these items to make a positive difference in increasing access to basic essentials for women,” said Martina Shinkle, a supervisor at Dollar General’s Zanesville distribution center and organizer of the donations.
The donations support the organization in its mission to provide direct service for victims of domestic violence in Muskingum, Morgan and Perry Counties. This is the Zanesville Distribution Center’s third year for the product drive, last year donating more than $2,000 worth of items.
