Donald’s Donuts and BBBS Team Up for Sweet Partnership

ZANESVILLE, OH – It’s that time of year again where you can pick up a sweet treat and help a good cause out all at the same time.

Donald’s Donuts has partnered up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville for their 4th annual Donut Sale. From April 7th through the 13th you can pick up one, or a dozen, donuts decorated with the signature BBBS color green.

Katie Lupsor, the president of BBBS, said donut week serves as a kick off to their Bowl For Kids Sake happening on April 16th through the 18th.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters loves community collaborations and I think this kind of partnership is really important for us,” Luspor said. “To not only raise some extra dollars for programs but it’s also important for us to work with other community partners and to make a bigger difference.”

Tom Warne, the owner of Donald’s, said this fundraiser holds a special place in his heart. He said he was once a big and saw first hand the impact that BBBS can have on kids.

“I’ve always been part of Big Brothers Big Sisters, I was a big years ago,” Warne said. “So it’s just always been, you know, something that’s been important to me.”

For every donut sold, 100% of the profits will go back to BBBS to help with programs. Donald’s Donuts is located at 2622 Maple Ave and is open from 5AM until 2PM everyday except Tuesdays.
