Homer was the biggest Ohio State Buckeye fan one could know. He didn’t have to tell you that out loud because he wore the gear and colors almost daily! He also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns. He was a member of “The Brew Crew” (Those that know, know!). People often referred to him as a social butterfly, being one of the nicest and pleasant people to be around. Homer was known to always have a smile on his face. You could often find him sitting out front of the house watching the cars go by and enjoying the company of the dogs. Homer retired from Mock Woodworking after 22 years. He battled C.O.P.D for 9 long years, which often kept him from doing the things he enjoyed. Most importantly of all, Homer enjoyed his family and grandchildren. Going to all their sporting/social events was the highlight of his days. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
There will be a private memorial service held in his honor. A celebration of life to the public will be held at a later date. Cremation has been chosen. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
