Rose Umstott

Rose Umstott, 88, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at Genesis Hospital. She was born May 27, 1936, in Coshocton to the late Ben and Helen Pew Mangiopane.

Rose was a switchboard operator at Ohio Bell, and she also worked at Coshocton City Schools and United Dairy Ice Cream Shop. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and crocheting. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church, where she participated in the Wednesday Community Meals program.

She is survived by her sons: Robert (Debra) Umstott and Bruce (Jackie) Umstott; stepbrother Dick Mangiopane; many grandchildren and step grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Duane Umstott; a son Steven Umstott; and a brother Samuel Mangiopane.

Visitation will be from 11AM to 1PM, Monday, April 14, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. A graveside service will follow at 3PM in the Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield, Ohio.
