Bicyclist Struck in Coshocton County

A West Lafayatte man sustains injuries following an accident between a bicyclist and a vehicle. The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to County Road 151 Sunday.

It was determined that 65-year-old Melvin E. Wallace of West Lafayette was traveling south on County Road 151 on his bicycle when he was struck by 78-year-old William Bower, also of West Layfayette. Bower was traveling south on County Road 151, as well.

Wallace was transported from the scene to Coshocton Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Grant Hospital by Med-flight. His condition is unknown at this time.
