Shots Fired in Downtown Zanesville

For the second night in a row, authorities in Zanesville responded to reports of a shooting.

Around 9:15 p.m. scanner traffic indicated shots had been fired near the area of Shinnick and Orchard Streets.  Further scanner traffic indicated that a subject had been shot at, but it is believed that person was not hit.  That person then ran to a residence in the 800 block of Orchard street.

The shots reportedly came from a silver vehicle that quickly sped away from the area.

A separate call also reported a single shot fired on Abbington Avenue.
