Furry Feline Needs Furever Home
The Animal Shelter’s newest fury friend is a lovable kitty named London.
London is a 6-month-old domestic cat, wrapped in a beautiful brown tabby coat. Executive director, Jody Murray, said London is afraid of dogs and other pets. However, this bundle of energy is very affectionate and loves being held. Murray said this sweet girl would make the perfect addition to your family.
“When she came in, she didn’t have a lot of social skills, and going through the foster, that really helped a lot, she was with a family being raised, and got used to people, got able to trust people, so you can tell she’s very lovable,” Murray said.
London is litter-box trained and up-to-date on vaccinations. Murray said the best thing about this fury feline is she has a sponsored adoption. Her adoption fee is only $25.
“Folks can come in anytime the shelter is open, and the adoption process takes about a half hour, by the time you fill out the papers, and do all those kind of things, we encourage people to come in, and spend some time with her in the playroom,” Murray said.
The Animal Shelter’s second annual “Neuterama” is coming up on November 12. Murray said the shelter hopes to neuter about 50 to 60 male cats for a reduced cost of $28. To schedule an appointment, you can contact the Animal Shelter, at 740-452-1077.
