Rambo Memorial Health Starts Yearly Campaign

Tis’ the season for giving, as one local organization needs your help this Christmas.

It’s time to check your mailboxes, Rambo Memorial Health Center and the Muskingum Respiratory Care Association mailed more than 8,000 letters to Muskingum County residents Wednesday, as part of their “Yule Time Seals Campaign.” Those who receive the seals are encouraged to use them for their holiday mailings, to show support for Rambo’s health services and programs.

“We’re actually requesting everybody use those seals during the year, in order to remind people the importance of this, and then there is an envelope they can send back and in, where they can put their donation, we’ve set a goal of $25,000, but we appreciate anything that anyone would like to contribute,” said chairperson, Carol Humphreys.

All contributions will remain in Muskingum County, and benefit free health and educational services provided by Rambo, including TB testing, pulmonary function testing, and chest x-rays. The organization will accept donations through December 31.

“The best part about this campaign is we are going to support Rambo, which everyone does know is a tremendous help with the flu shots and everything, but also the fact that they continue to work with folks who have pulmonary issues,” Humphreys said.
