Bach to Broadway Returns to Zanesville on Saturday
ZANESVILLE, OH–”Bach to Broadway” is back at Secrest Auditorium this Saturday.
The Zanesville Thursday Music Club is celebrating a remarkable 115 years of offering free concerts to the Muskingum County community. For this milestone event, there will be two featured artists: Stephanie Grant and Louis Patterson.
There will be students performing for the first time on the stage of Secrest, many of whom have participated in the Thursday Music Club Festival Recital. There will also be high school students who have earned positions in the scholarship competition each year. Additionally, some former Zanesville residents will return to perform, along with the featured Chamber Singers.
“We have about 70 that are on the stage,” said program director Jim McLaughlin. “The youngest will be about a first or second grader playing the piano, right up through high school, adults, and senior citizens. It is a free concert that’s offered every two years, and we showcase the wonderful music opportunities of this community.”
This free event is open to the public, and everyone is invited to experience the magic of live music. It will take place at the Secrest Auditorium and Music Hall on Saturday, April 12th, at 7:30 p.m.
Whether you’re a lifelong music lover or just looking for a great night out, this is one performance you won’t want to miss.
