Riesbeck’s Donates money from Breast Cancer Awareness Promotion

Riesbeck’s wrapped up their Breast Cancer Awareness Lunchbox Fundraiser by presenting one local organization with a generous donation.

Riesbeck’s organized a Box Lunch Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Tuesday, they presented a check to the Cancer Concern Coalition in the amount of $4,624.66 to help patients throughout the community.

“Words could not express how we feel at Riesbeck’s, being able to give back to the community. When you hear stories, how this really impacts them; whether it’s a gas card or put towards another use. This is a care that perhaps they wouldn’t get if they didn’t have access to the hospitals and the money. It’s an amazing feeling. Especially with all that’s going on in the world, this warms your hearts,”said Jane Dombroski.

Lynnette Simon, Co-Chairman for Cancer Concern Coalition told us, it’s an awesome feeling to be able to give back to someone in need.

“It feels good to help them. You can’t help them as much as you want to in anyway, shape or form but, it is awesome to be able to alleviate some of their stress and you see it in their face; the relief on their face is priceless,” said Simon.

This is Riesbeck’s fifth year having this fundraiser and to this date they have raised more than $35,000,00.
