Fresh Kettle Corn for the Holidays

Ever walk into the mall and a certain smell triggers a holiday memory? That’s exactly what some experience when they get a whiff of The Crazy Kernel Kettle Corn Company.

The Crazy Kernel Kettle Corn Company is located in Colony Square mall and was introduced by Michael Price and his wife. The store opens each year on November 1st, stays open through the holidays and closes on December 31st. Price told us it brings him joy to be opening during the holidays.

“I absolutely love it. It is an absolute joy to me to be able to sell it. I love everything about the business. We’ve grown tremendously over the last five years, since we first started the business. I’ve just enjoyed every bite of it. To see the repeat customers, and the relationships we have built is amazing. And to hear the people that came into the mall and they tell us they just come in for the kettle corn,” said Price.

One thing that sets them apart from other kettle corn companies and the many flavors they carry. Price told us, when most people come in they want to try everything.

“The biggest thing is samples. Customers wants to try the different flavors. We have 15 on the board and we can produce up to about 100. But, we just sell the most popular 15 in the store,” said Price.
