Bonnie Hunter

Bonnie A. Hunter, 90, of Zanesville, died Wednesday morning, April 23, 2025, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

Born October 6, 1934, in Beeson, West Virginia, she is a daughter of the late Jewett & Lena (Massey) Archer and a 1952 graduate of Spanishburg High School, Rock, West Virginia. She was a faithful member of the Northgate Church Dresden. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her three children, Annice (Lee) Tilton, Patricia Hunter, and John Hunter Jr.; seven grandchildren, Richard Tilton, Lea Tilton Swanson, Troy Hunter, William (Angie) McGee, Amanda (DJ) Ashton, Christopher (Carley) Hunter, and Rachelle Hunter; seventeen great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hunter, who died May 21, 2013; a granddaughter, Katie Christensen; a brother, Gary Archer, two sisters, Loretta Lloyd and Phillis Broyles.

Family and friends may call 6:00-8:00pm, Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Northgate Church Dresden, 10516 Frazeysburg Road, Dresden, Ohio and two hours prior to the services on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, April 25, 2025, at Northgate Church Dresden, 10516 Frazeysburg Road, Dresden with Pastors Mike and Melody Foster officiating.

Bonnie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Dresden Cemetery.
