Black Friday Deals at Colony Square Mall

One of the busiest shopping days of the year is fast approaching.

Shoppers will flood Colony Square Mall this Black Friday to snag the best deals, but Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, Kevin Pinson, said some retailers are opening their doors on Thanksgiving Day. The mall will be open from 6 p.m. until midnight on Thanksgiving, and some stores will remain open all night through Black Friday.

“We’re leaving the lights on all night, and we’re giving retailers the option of setting longer hours, so we have several that are open all night long, some have said well we’ll stay open past midnight as long as there’s a steady flow of customers coming through,” Pinson said.

Although Thanksgiving Day marks the start of the 2015 holiday shopping season at Colony Square Mall, the frenzy will continue Black Friday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m, with some stores opening as early as 5 a.m. Pinson said a lot of the deals have already started, but the best Black Friday doorbusters depend on the retailer.

“We’re tracking what the retailers offers are going to be, and we’re going to post as many of those as we can on our website this week, a lot of them kind of keep that top secret until Thanksgiving Day when the sales fliers come out, so if you don’t see your favorite retailer on the website, you can probably check their website to see what they’re up to,” Pinson said.
