Muskingum County Humane Society to Host 3rd Annual Comedy Night

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Muskingum County Humane Society is gearing up for a night full of laughs, all for a good cause.

On Friday, May 16th from 6 to 8PM, at Bryan Place, the Humane Society will be hosting their 3rd annual Comedy Night Fundraiser.

Julie Bay, a Board Member with the Humane Society, said all of the funds raised from the Comedy Night will go towards helping animals in need in our area.

“What do we use the funds for? We use them for vet care, spay and neuter programs, food assistance, when needed,” Bay said. “So basically, the less fortunate animals of our community and all the care that they need.”

Bay said there will also be a chance raffle to take part in as well as a 50/50 drawing.

She said not only will you leave with a smile on your face from laughing so hard, but also from knowing that you’ve helped some animals in need.

“Who doesn’t like to laugh and who doesn’t like to help the animals, so it’s two great things coming together,” Bay said. “We have great sponsors that sponsor our event, that helps as well.”
