Locally Grown Edible Gifts for Sale this Holiday Season

We all have at least one person who’s difficult to shop for when Christmas comes around and this year, FoodWorks Alliance is working to solve that problem and support local businesses.

The three unique boxes for sale are filled with fare from local growers, producers, and restaurants. From a spicy selection to a sweet collection, and a box full of Adornettos’ exclusive sauces and dressing, FoodWorks Alliance Director Carol Humphreys said these boxes will make anyone’s Christmas be merry.

“It something that feels homegrown and close to home. So if you have someone that is so difficult to buy for; maybe it’s a family member or it could be customer, this is something that’s different [and] hasn’t been offered before, and everybody eats,” said Humphreys.

The boxes are just $30.00 a piece, and all the money made will support the economy right here in the local community. Humpherys said shopping locally is imperative not just during the holidays, but all year ’round.

“It does help feed families,” said Humpheys. “It does help businesses grow and for us to be able to have local food and we know where it’s coming from, is extremely important.”

Quantities are limited and orders will only be taken through Dec. 7. To place your order, you can contact FoodWorks Alliance at (740) 453-3649.
