AEP Reporting Power outages

ZANESVILLE– Strong storms rolled through the area shortly after 3:00 pm Tuesday causing widespread power outages and damage.

A large pine tree came down on Dresden Road near Karl Road in Zanesville knocking down power lines and closing the road.

The high winds also damaged the sign at Captain D’s on Maple Avenue.

As of 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, American Electric Power is reporting outages in the following counties:

Coshocton–2,779

Muskingum–2,136

Perry–3,198

Licking –2,589

Guernsey–1,968
