Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra Host Free Holiday Concert
ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â There was full house at Secrest Auditorium Thursday for the Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra’s 16th annual holiday concert.
Folks could get in for free with a donation of a non-perishable food item for Christ’s Table. This concert features talented musicians that varied in age from young to old to perform classical Christmas music for the packed auditorium. And also featured our very own Phil Sakal as a guest conductor. The musicians played a plethora of instruments from bells to cellos.
“It’s just a wonderful thing to do, and this season” said Manager, LeAnne Bader-Mock. “The Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra is so happy to do something to give back to the community.”
These musicians have been preparing for this concert since October.
“For me it is, a wonderful experience. I’m not one of the musicians. I’m just the manager” said Bader-Moch. “But to watch Dr. Laura work with all these musicians all over Ohio, young youth orchestra kids as well. It’s just an amazing gift. But great for the holidays.”
