Gifts of Love

One community choir held its annual holiday concert Sunday.

The Coshocton Community Choir presented “Gifts of Love” this weekend. The concert featured three different choirs, with 80 singers all together.

“This Christmas concert includes the Coshocton Community Choir, and this will be the adult choir. Then we will have the Coshocton Singers, and these are the children 4th-8th grade. We also have the Coshocton Youth Chorale, these are the high school students. All of the groups will be singing accompanied by the Roscoe Brass at times and it’s a great gift for our community to give our Christmas message,” said Diane Jones, Vice President for the Coshocton Community Choir.

Jones also told us, they begin to prepare for this event nearly four months in advance.

“Every year we try to preview new and different songs but, we also bring some old favorites back. Such as, O Holy Night; and we sing songs that the audience can sing along to as well. It’s just a wonderful time to celebrate this holiday season,” said Jones.

If you missed the performance on Sunday, their next event will be their spring concert in April.
