Larry Dean Abram, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Willowhaven in Zanesville, surrounded by love and cherished memories.

Born to the late Homer and Mildred Abram, Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda (Cable) Abram, his brother Norman Abram, and his sister Nancy Plant. Though he experienced great loss, Larry remained a source of light and laughter to all who knew him.

Larry was a man of many passions. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—tending his garden, cheering on his favorite football teams, fixing things around the house, and sharing stories (often with a well-timed joke). His warm heart, quick wit, and gentle spirit made him unforgettable to all who crossed his path.

He is survived by his three children: Gina Ridenour, Brent (Amy) Abram, and Andrea (Jason) Layne; nine grandchildren: Nick (Brandi) Ridenour, Asiah (Jake) Murphy, Corey (Krissy) Abram, Kalie (Bob) Bernard, Katlyn (Jacob) Ross, Kirstin Abram, Drake Shaw, Luke (Cassidy) Ridenour, and Caleb Abram; and fourteen great-grandchildren who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Larry will be remembered not just for the life he lived, but for the love he gave. His legacy lives on in the laughter, kindness, and memories he leaves behind.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

A graveside service will follow immediately at New Lexington Cemetery.

Following the burial, all are welcome to gather for a meal and time of fellowship at the basement of the Elks Lodge New Lexington.
