ZPD Investigates Armed Robbery

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating an early Friday morning armed robbery. Chief Kenneth Miller says just after 3:30 am a black male entered the Speedway at 930 Blue Avenue and pulled out a handgun. He then made off with an undetermined amount of cash. Chief Miller says the suspect is described as 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a red bandana and a gray jacket with a black panel across the shoulder with red writing and a design or logo.  He was also wearing jeans and yellow tennis shoes.  No injuries were reported.
