New Genesis Facility Offers Faster, More Convenient Imaging

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Genesis Hospital staff marked a milestone celebrating the opening of a new outpatient imaging facility on Maple Avenue.

The facility offers a wide range of imaging services, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans and MRIs. Patients can expect enhancements such as faster MRI scanning, which means shorter appointments and quicker results.

“The value proposition here is a combination of state-of-the-art technology like MRI and CT with latest protocols and access to specialty imagers through the Riverside Radiology program,” said Dr. Pete Lafferty of Genesis HealthCare System.

While the facility may be new, the level of care remains consistent with what patients have come to expect from Genesis.

“Fully operational as we speak, the main issue we want residents to be aware of is that the quality of imaging that’s available here is the same as at the hospital environment.”

The Maple Avenue location is now welcoming patients, and appointments are available.
